As operator of the gas transportation system, Gassco is responsible for advancing the development of the upstream gas pipeline networks and related facilities. Gassco works to achieve integrated transportation and processing solutions for the petroleum industry, in accordance with the Norwegian petroleum regulation (jmf. petroleumsforskriften §66A).
Project initiation is primarily based on the need for new solutions from the users, that is, gas owners from existing or new fields.
At Gassco, we are committed to receiving and reviewing inquiries from other stakeholders who wish to engage in activities involving the gas transportation system. This might include activities such as the utilization of waste heat from processing facilities or the integration and use of gas for commercial purposes, that is, activities that in some way involve our facilities.
