Equinor and Gassco have issued a brochure to inform the population residing along the pipeline along North Rogaland about the necessary precautions to ensure their safety, as well as information about emergency preparedness.
Telephone alerts
Sending emergency notifications to residents living in close proximity to pipelines enhances safety. Although the likelihood of accidents or leaks related to gas transportation is low, Equinor and Gassco have implemented a telephone alert system as a precautionary measure. In partnership with the police and fire department, this system guarantees that we can quickly reach the population in affected areas.
