WHISTLEBLOWING CHANNEL FOR
Gassco AS (“Gassco”) strives to achieve transparency and a high level of business ethics. We believe that openness and transparency in the workplace is key to prevent, detect and respond to irregularities and to promote a healthy working environment. Therefore, we encourage anyone that has a concern to raise it with us. The whistleblowing channel is a supplement to internal and local reporting systems for reports on suspected misconduct or censurable conditions.
WHEN
Report any known or suspected wrongdoing, breaches of laws or regulations, unethical behavior, or questionable conditions within our organization promptly. This includes past, present, or anticipated instances. Breaches do not need to be materialized at the time of the reporting; it can also be potential breaches which are very likely to occur. Also report situations that may harm public interest, such as corruption, fraud, financial misconduct, environmental violations, or threats to public health and safety.
Personal grievances are generally not considered a misconduct or censurable conditions under this routine. These types of complaints may be reported to or discussed with your immediate manager, the HR department or the safety and employee representative.
WHO
This list is not exhaustive:
- Members of staff (employees, former employees and applicants when the information was obtained in the context of the former employment relationship or application);
- External and occasional employees;
- Shareholders;
- Members of administrative, management or supervisory bodies;
- Co-contractors and sub subcontractors of the entity
HOW
As a general rule, Gassco’s employees are required to initially report any concerns internally through the appropriate lowest level channels available. Gassco’s Whistleblowing channel is managed by EY, also known as Ernst & Young, and is a global professional services firm. The portal provides a web-based reporting platform for whistleblowers to directly communicate with EY, as well as communication with Gassco through EY. The Whistleblowing channel ensures complete confidentiality for the whistleblower, respecting their request for anonymity. Additionally, the whistleblower has the option to report their concerns in any of the languages listed below.
