Nyhamna

The processing plant at Nyhamna in Aukra municipality in Møre og Romsdal was operational in 2007.

Nyhamna was originally built as an onshore facility for processing and exporting gas from the Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian Sea.

Aasta Hansteen will be the second field connected to Nyhamna. After a significant upgrade, the facility has been enabled to process gas from other fields in the Norwegian Sea through the Polarled pipeline. The export capacity form Nyhamna is now at 84 million standard cubic metres of gas per day.
